Mrs. Kayleen Lundquist - Reading Assessment Workshop 2007

Congratulations to Kayleen Lundquist on her selection as a participant in the South Dakota Department of Education Reading Alignment Workgroup, which met at the Ramada Inn in Sioux Falls from December 4-7, 2007. Mrs. Lundquist was one of 30 participants selected from over 140 nominees throughout the state. These teachers are experts in their teaching areas at their grade levels. They judged how well that the state test items or tasks align with content standards and determined whether the assessment had sufficient breadth to cover the performance level expectations. According to the Department of Education, this is an excellent opportunity for her to “dialogue with some of the finest teachers in South Dakota.” Thank you, Mrs. Lundquist, for representing us and all the state’s third grade teachers in this important undertaking.
