Each week one first grader is selected as VIP in first grade. Each child will be VIP for one week and it will be his/her week “to shine.”

The VIPS will be selected one month in advance so you can plan accordingly for your child’s VIP week. You will receive VIP sheets to fill out and return on the Monday of your child’s special week. You may call me at school or home and let me know what your special plans are for your child.

If you would like to come in during that week and share about your child or whatever you wish, your child would certainly enjoy sharing that with his/her friends. Grandpa & Grandma are most welcome to come in also. We understand if someone isn’t able to come in for VIP week.

You may send favorite photos in an envelope or items of special interest to your child on Monday of his/her VIP week for our bulletin board display. You may also send in something special about your child each day. This is your child’s week to “shine.”
