We had a super time doing Potato Math. We divided into 4 groups with a parent in each group. We each had a Potato Math book to record our results from our different
experiments with our potato. Some of the fun things that we did were: *draw around the shape of our potato *count the eyes *measure the circumference *weigh the potato on a scale *weigh with marbles on a balance scale *measure with unifix cubes *draw a potato person *record our favorite way of eating
potatoes *graph the classes favorite kind of
potato and *make a potato man with bouncing legs
and arms. We did a potato clock and it ran for many days. We finished off our Potato Math by
reading potato books, playing Hot Potato, and then we went into the gym
and did a Potato Roll to see whose would go further.
