Our class is involved with a postcard exchange with other classes around the country. This is a yearlong project that we began in September and will end in May. Each week we send two postcards to two different states, and we receive one or two postcards from other states each week as well.

We have a large map of the United States in our classroom so that we can keep track of where we have received postcards. We have listed the classrooms and states that we are exchanging postcards with. It is such fun to get postcards from all over America and learn about each classroom and what they are doing.
