George
Washington Everybody
knows the story of the cherry tree-His father asked, “Who cut this down?” And
young George answered, “Me!” There
are a lot of other things George Washington did do: Like making maps, and farming, and he was a soldier, too! He was our country’s president, the very
first we had. We will always remember
George Washington, as he made our hearts so glad. |

Brown Bear Brown Bear
By Bill Martin Jr. This is great book for a re-write. Instead of animal names, insert student names.
We take digital pictures of each student and put on each page. We bind together in a book and they love to read it. |
